Bill from floating floors direct and his installers Matt and Adam are extremely professional and deserve the 5 stars. The price quoted was not only the best price but the whole process was smooth and efficient and we are so happy with our new floor. We will definitely be using Bill again and can’t thank him enough. The price was good and the team that installed the carpet was outstanding. I’ve used this company twice and I’ll continue to use them for anything else I need in the flooring area. Updated 10/08/2026 Just had Bill from floating floors direct install new carpet in my house for the second time and the job was completed with excellent results. The original carpet was re installed as a warranty claim from the Australian manufacturer and Bill organised the whole process with true professionalism as usual. We are very happy that we chose Floating Floors Direct. Bill was genuine, knowledgeable and clearly focused on what would work best for us. Throughout the process, he gave us thoughtful, practical and professional advice, particularly around product selection, subfloor preparation, staging the installation while we were still living in the house, and the treatment of the stairs. Matt and Adam, the installation team, were outstanding. They were highly skilled, efficient and careful, and handled every issue that we had initially thought might be difficult in a practical and professional way. They completed the job on schedule, and we are extremely pleased with the finished result. There was a longer lead time before installation, but in our view, the quality of the advice, workmanship and overall experience far outweighed the wait.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. To replace carpet in your living and dining room about 60 square metres is a time consuming task. You have to get it right, and I found that Floating Floors Direct were eager to help in this regard. Thank you Bill Grogan for your assistance during the selection process but also the unexpected costs that may arise during installation, was made clear so I knew what I was up for if the worst happened. The installation team were very professional, they moved all the furniture and did an excellent job, Matt and Adam, down to earth good blokes, very experienced, highly recommend them.

We needed old carpet removed and new bamboo floorboards installed to match the rest of our house, and they absolutely delivered. Their attention to detail was exceptional, especially when it came to matching the existing bamboo—the new floors blend in perfectly, which we didn't think was possible. The team was incredibly careful, even managing to gently remove and reuse the original skirting boards, saving us a significant amount of money and hassle.
